Black Mountain Engineering, L.L.C, began as Kightly Engineering in 1995. Then in 1999, Kightly changed to Black Mountain Engineering, LLC for greater opportunities. Since then, Black Mountain Engineering has designed highway, residential, commercial and industrial development for the private and government sector. Black Mountain Engineering has coordinated residential and commercial developments from beginning to completion. These projects mostly have been in the states of Arizona, California and Idaho. Black Mountain Engineering covers a wide prospect of engineering, due diligence and project management for each of the clients before purchasing and proceeding with the development. Black Mountain Engineering is diverse from hydrology, highway design, water, sewer, hill side analysis, entitlements, master planning of large subdivisions, re-zoning, neighborhood meeting and citizen participation plans, property investigations and project management of construction. Black Mountain Engineering has completed zoning processes and all government entities for permit approvals.

Papago Vista - Phoenix
This project was developed by Aztec Homes in Scottsdale, AZ. The project consists of three 4-plexes and one 3- plex development. Black Mountiain engineered the complete development from pre-application review at the City of Phoenix to construction permit.
